After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, it seems like a good time to look back at the CIA program to create a mind controlled assassin incapable of remembering their actions. Yes it was real.

“Can we get control of an individual to the point where he will do our bidding against his will?”
The quote above, taken from a 1950’s CIA memo, gives us a rare glimpse into the mindset of those operating in the shadows.
This is far from a conspiracy theory, it’s the CIA’s own question. Asked while experimenting on unwitting people through top secret programs like Artichoke and later MKUltra.
In his book The Search for the Manchurian Candidate: The CIA & Mind Control, which you can download for free in its entirety here, John Marks used declassified documents to prove that controlled assassins were created by the agency and revealed the techniques they used to accomplish this.
After the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the arrest of Tyler Robinson, his alleged assassin, I thought we should look back at how the CIA created what it called the ultimate weapon, a mind controlled assassin incapable of remembering their crime.
We’ll also examine the agency’s first successful experiment into creating such a killer.
Splitting Personalities Through Hypnosis

Under the watchful eye of the CIA, researchers would take mentally healthy individuals, and without their knowledge or consent, using hypnosis, split their minds into multiple personalities.
Sounds like science fiction, doesn’t it?
Don’t worry, it gets stranger.
While under hypnosis, a subject could be made to develop an alternate personality, one loyal to the agency and willing to carry out any and all devious task required.
The best part for the CIA?
Once the subject came out of hypnosis, they wouldn’t remember a thing.

The alternate personality could perform simple tasks like delivering sensitive documents or gathering intelligence, or horrifying ones, including assassination.
This “split” self existed entirely outside the subject’s awareness, they had no memory, no ownership, and no ability to confess what had been done in their name.
The perfect assassin.
The genius, and terror, of it was that the CIA could weaponize the human psyche itself. A person walking the streets could contain a hidden agent inside them, a mind controlled assassin, sleeping until woken, executing orders without conscience or memory.
The line between human and operative blurred, and yet all of it was hidden under layers of secrecy, bureaucracy, and classified programs.
Candidates for the Program
Declassified documents prove beyond a doubt that hypnotic couriers functioned effectively in real-life simulations. To accomplish the creation of controlled operatives, they needed a specific type of person.
The candidate had to be among the one in five people who made good hypnotic subjects and needed to have a dissociative tendency to separate part of their personality from the main body of their consciousness.
The hope was to take an existing ego state, such as an imaginary childhood playmate, and build it into a separate personality, unknown to the first. The hypnotist would communicate directly with this split-off consciousness and command it to carry out specific deeds about which the main personality would know nothing.
There would be inevitable leakage between the two personalities, particularly in dreams, but if the hypnotist were clever enough, they could build in cover stories and safety valves that would prevent the subject from acting inconsistently.
The First Experiment Into Creating a Controlled Killer
The first experiment involved two women.
The two women were friends who both worked as secretaries. One woman was chosen as the victim, the other as the killer.
The “victim” was put into a deep trance and told to continue sleeping until she was ordered to wake up.
The second woman was then put under hypnosis as the “killer” and was told that if she could not wake her friend,
“her rage would be so great that she would not hesitate to kill the sleeping woman.”
An unloaded pistol was left nearby, which the “killer secretary” had no way of knowing was unloaded. Even though she had earlier expressed a fear of firearms of any kind, she picked up the gun and without hesitation attempted to shoot her sleeping friend in the head.
After the “killer” was brought out of her trance, she suffered from amnesia of the event, refusing to believe that she would ever shoot anyone.
This is the power those in the shadows have, and as we’re about to see, they aren’t afraid to use it.
Possible Mind Controlled Assassins and Mass Shooters
The official line is that MKUltra ended in the 1970s.
Ok.
It’s quite the coincidence how every few years another “lone nut” with no motive, no memory, and no history of violence suddenly flips a switch and rewrites history with a gun.
Totally random.
Nothing to see here.
Let’s look at a few of these cases and why some people aren’t buying the story they’re selling.
James Holmes (Aurora theater shooter, 2012)

Holmes showed up in court looking like he’d just been unplugged from the Matrix, glassy eyed, totally disconnected, the man was barely present.
His rambling notebooks and psychiatrist visits with an intelligence connected shrink only fueled the idea that he wasn’t fully in control his own body that night.
Stephen Paddock (Las Vegas shooter, 2017)

The guy with no motive, no manifesto, no clear reason to gun down hundreds of innocent people.
It was totally out of character, no paper trail of radicalization. Conspiracy theories that he was manipulated into the shooting exploded for obvious reasons.
Mark David Chapman (John Lennon assassin, 1980)

Chapman was carrying the book Catcher in the Rye in his pocket when he was arrested. He was as calm as a monk after killing one of the most famous men in the world.
He would ramble about an “alternate self.”
Everything about Mark David Chapman screams “somebody flipped a switch.”
John Hinckley Jr. (Reagan shooter, 1981)

John Hinckley Jr. claimed he shot Ronald Reagan to impress Jodie Foster.
He behaved like a programmed drone from the start and had family ties with the Bushes.
As you might imagine, people didn’t buy that this was all just puppy love obsession.
Nikolas Cruz (Parkland shooter, 2018)

Cruz was a walking red flag factory with a long mental health record. He was shuffled in and out of foster care his entire life.
He also made violent threats which were ignored by the FBI.
This kid felt more like a preloaded time bomb than just a troubled kid who “snapped.”
Final Thoughts
I think anyone paying attention gets it, if the agency could create hypnotic couriers (which is documented), why wouldn’t they also create mind controlled assassins?
Of course, they’d never admit to creating such weapons, but just admitting the courier program existed is enough to see that if one is possible, so is the other.
If you made it this far please don’t forget to like the post. It helps more than you think and let’s me know a human is actually reading.
Do you think any of the people listed above were mind controlled assassins? Who are other people who could’ve been mind controlled assassins?
